Safety

What can go wrong, and what cannot. Short version: your wallet is never at risk from SENDIT's key, and withdrawals always reach your wallet.

Test funds

SENDIT runs on Pickle Chain's testnet. pUSD is minted by the faucet and backed by nothing; test ETH has no value. A testnet reset can wipe balances and positions. Do not send anything of value to a SENDIT address.

Your trading key

The trading key can trade and send your SENDIT balance. It can never touch your wallet, and it can only withdraw to your wallet. Two ways it could be stolen:

  • Your unlock signature. The key is made from your wallet's signature of the "Unlock my SENDIT trading key" message. Anyone who gets that signature can make the same key. Sign it only on sendit.picklechain.xyz, never on another site, and never share it.
  • The browser. The key lives in the browser that unlocked it. Malicious code running on the SENDIT page (a cross-site scripting bug) or a compromised device could use it.
If something looks wrong

Revoke every key from the Balance page (one wallet transaction), then withdraw. A revoke ends every key at once; nobody can withdraw anywhere but your wallet in the meantime.

What the operators can do

SENDIT's contracts have an operator (the bank) and owners (the perps engine, the copy factory, the pUSD exchange). Between them, they can:

  • Pause. A pause stops everything that spends from a SENDIT balance: new positions, token buys, sells and launches, starting a copy, vault deposits, pUSD purchases, and sends and gas top-ups signed by a key. It never stops withdrawals, closing positions, payouts, deposits or your wallet's own sends.
  • End every key. An emergency brake that stops every trading key on SENDIT at once. It moves no money; each account unlocks again with one wallet transaction.
  • Add a venue (a contract allowed to trade with SENDIT balances), only after a 24-hour wait, announced on the chain, so anyone can withdraw first. Removing one is immediate.
  • Change market settings: maximum leverage, spreads, funding, which markets are open to new positions. Lowering a market's maximum leverage raises the maintenance margin of its open positions at once.
  • Change the pUSD exchange: pause it, or change the most one purchase gets.

What nobody can do

  • Move or edit your SENDIT balance. The bank has no sweep, no balance edit, no upgrade and no fee.
  • Block a withdrawal, or send it anywhere but your wallet.
  • Take the money in a copy account. Only the copier can take money out.
  • Take the liquidity of a launched token out of its pool.
